Helping you to be the version of yourself that feels most like home

Hi, I'm Nadiah. A counsellor who understands both your heart and your faith.

Maybe you've been carrying something for a long time. Maybe you've wondered whether a counsellor would understand why your faith matters to you, or whether an ustazah would understand what's actually happening in your mind and body.

You shouldn't have to choose. That's why I started Schola Rasa.

Who I Am

I'm a counsellor and an ARS-recognised asatizah based in Singapore. Before counselling, I spent 13 years teaching in MOE secondary schools and madrasahs, from GCE 'O' Level to IB classrooms.

In all those years, I noticed the same thing. The students, parents and colleagues who came to talk to me rarely needed another lesson. They needed someone to sit with what they were feeling, without judgement and without being rushed toward an answer.

So I retrained. I completed a Master of Counselling at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and now work full-time with clients in my practice.

How I work

My counselling is warm, collaborative and paced to you. I draw on:

01
Emotionally Focused approaches

02
Islamic-centred Psychology

03
Creative and somatic methods

Faith is welcome here, but never imposed. Some clients want to talk about their relationship with Allah. Others want a counsellor who simply won't misunderstand their values. Both are completely okay. You decide how much faith enters the room.

Who I Work With

Most of my clients are Muslim women navigating burnout, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship patterns, or the quiet exhaustion of being a highly sensitive person. As an HSP myself, I know what it's like to feel everything deeply in a world that moves too fast.

I see clients in person in Singapore and online across Southeast Asia and beyond.

My qualifications
  • Master of Counselling, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

  • Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS), Singapore

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

  • Bachelor of Social Science (Political Science), Singapore Management University

  • [SAC membership: insert exact status and wording once confirmed]

  • 13 years in education, including MOE schools and madrasahs

Why "Schola Rasa"?

Schola means school. Rasa means feeling, in Malay. Schola Rasa is a school of feelings: a place to slow down, understand yourself, and come back to who Allah created you to be.
